I'm here !

Sorry I forgot to blog.
I landed a little over a week ago, I've settled in and I'm doing great.
The first week was a bit tough since Melbourne was experiencing a heatwave. With the hottest week in history ! I think it was about 45 C. - Which was unbelievably hot and nothing I had ever experienced before. But this week it has gotten cooler, and I'm loving Melbourne so much already.

While I've had pretty bad experiences with their public transportation (especially due to the heat) I must say this is a beautiful city. I live in a suburb called Altona Meadows, about an hour away from the city. - This is sometimes annoying me, because it means getting up really early in the morning, but otherwise the suburb is quiet and pretty. - Although I'd have to admit that all the houses look the same around here.

My hostfamily is a family with a Hungarian background. I'm also living with two other Chinese students, with whom I can't really communicate with, due to poor Mandarin from my side and poor English from theirs.
I have my own room which is painted a funky green colour, but otherwise cool enough.

School has started precisely a week ago, and I'm already quite busy with homework and groupwork/projects, but it's fun to be taught in a different way.
